Josh was the photographer for this engagement shoot and shot with his usual awesomeness.
I read an interesting article today about how Toronto is one of the most “livable” cities in the world and I would totally agree. Toronto born and bred and loving it. The article did go on to say that Toronto does not rank high culturally (read: Very little to entice people to travel around the world to see). I tend to agree. Toronto grew up in the the 50’s and 60’s and that is not a high point in history, architecturally-speaking. Now, places like Montreal, Quebec City, Barcelona, Rome, Paris, those are a wedding photographer’s dream locales. I could add Hawaii, a good chunk of Europe and Asia to that list. South America is pretty cool. Australia would be awesome. Kenya too. New York. Heck, even Greenland, getting married on an ice floe. OK, visually, Toronto isn’t world-beating, but it is still my favourite. And the Distillery District is pretty cool.
Quebec City is, of course, historically and visually-stimulating. It makes a perfect backdrop for our beautiful couple and their engagement interlude.
