Anyone who has grown up in Toronto as I have will remember the CNE. There is something about the bright colours and the smell of popcorn and caramel. It is also a reminder that school is about to start, as if prodding us with the realization that we all must grow up. Yet, for those 3 weeks of summer, we can eat candy, make new friends and meet old ones, and create really happy memories in the most vivid colours imaginable.
