venues we miss
Throughout the last 15 years we have seen many wedding venues come and go. I wanted to take this time to honour some of my all time favourite venues that have closed down. Some of these places I have mentioned closed their doors prior to the pandemic and some during. Many photographers in the Toronto area will always miss venues such as Berkeley Church, Berkeley Fieldhouse, Nestleton Waters Inn, Estates of Sunnybrook, 99 Sudbury and Atlantis to name a few. We look back and remember fondly how beautiful these venues were, how nice the staff was and how great the locations were to take photos.
This wedding features one of our favourite venues, Airship 37, that unfortunately has shut down but was an overall amazing space to host a wedding. Located in the Distillery District of Toronto, this historic neighbourhood known for its well-preserved Victorian industrial architecture. It has been revitalised into a vibrant area filled with shops, restaurants, galleries, and performance spaces. The cobblestone streets and unique brick buildings provide a picturesque backdrop for photography and exploration.
