Top 3 photography prep tips
Here are a few quick tips to get the most out of your time with us.
1. Have a timeline and shot list. - This can be done by the couple or a wedding planner. The timeline consists of the itinerary of the day including all important addresses and emergency contacts. This gives the photographers an idea of when to show up and how much time the couple will need for photos of the bridal party and family. The shot list is a list of family members and friends that the couple will want a photo with. It is good to add groups to the list to ensure nobody is missed on the wedding day.
2. Have a family member or person in the wedding party round up people for family photos. - Family photos can be stressful and chaotic. Having someone to call out the list is important because they understand the family dynamics and can grab anyone who may be missing to be in the group photo.
3. Get a permit- Having a permit for the photo location is crucial. You are already spending so much on your wedding and photos. It is best to have a great location for our team to take those photos. Our team can give you a list of recommendations close to the wedding venue and the couple can choose from there. Having a permit ensures that you will not be kicked out by security and will have a time slot for your bridal party to take photos.
